Order Quantities

Single Quantities

Most of our products are sold by the item or by the pound. While shopping, when you see a default quantity of "1", this means one item or one pound (16 ounces). For example, when ordering Great Northern Beans in a quantity of "1" means you're ordering 1 pound (16 ounces). The price shown is the price per item or per pound.

Multiple Quantities

Other products are sold by the the ounce. While shopping, when you see a default quantity of "2", this means 2 ounces. You can select in multiples of the number shown. For example, when you're buying Beef Bouillon, the default quantity is 2, meaning 2 ounces. You use the drop-down list to select the total ounces you want: 2, 4, 6 and so on. The price shown for such products is the price per ounce. Beef Bouillon sells for $0.34 per ounce in multiples of 2 ounces, so the minimum order is 2 ounces for $0.68 total.

Delivered Quantities

Since we scoup our products for you and individually package them, the weight you receive might be slightly different than the weight you ordered. For example, if you order 8 ounces, you may receive 8.02 ounces or 7.98 ounces of the product. You are charged for what we ship. So, if we ship 7.98 ounces, you're charged for 7.98 ounces.

Shipping Charges

The shipping charges shown on your order are estimated. The actual shipping charges for the shipping method you request are prepaid and added to your order.

Privacy

Basic Ingredients does not disclose, rent, sell or give out our customer list or contact information to anyone for any purpose whatsoever. We do not share our mailing list with anyone - no individual, no group and no companies. We protect your privacy to the maximum extend possible!
